New iPhone, new design for PRG Consulting

Hi, as you can see, there are some improvements for the PRG Consulting website.

First, a new welcome page with a new interface.

Most important, I’m pleased to introduce Easy Gift List, the new iphone app (requested by the owners of My Christmas Gift List). It has been priced at $1.99/1.59 € and is available in English and French (for the moment). Do not hesitate to download it and send your comments at easygiftlist@prg-consulting.com

Breaking News, a new version of My Christmas Gift List has been (finally!) submitted to the App Store. I guess it will be published within 10 days (seems to be faster ?). Still working on various projects: Contactizer 3.8.4 and Vinoteka 1.5.5 are available.

Finally, My Christmas Gift List 1.0.1 has been approved by iTunes Store, you can get it thanks to the App Store update. A new version has been submitted. It will contain many improvements, like lock pad etc… I will give you more details when it will be approved.

My Christmas Gift List 1.0.1 is coming oon…

Thank you for purchasing my first iPhone app, “My Christmas Gift List”. Just wanna say that Apple is still reviewing the next coming minor version 1.0.1. This new version will fix some issues and will add some new features like a badge that contains the number of gift to purchase.
After this version I will publish a new version with lockpad and some other enhancements.

Introducing VinotekaSoft

As promised, this is a small intro to VinotekaSoft. This company has been created to edit Vinoteka, the Wine software and Cellar Manager especially designed for the Mac. The genesis started in 2007 when I got some bottle of wine. I was not able to find a real wine software that fits the Mac look and feel. So I decided to write one for my personal use and after a couple of months, my wife Elodie decided to create a business named VinotekaSoft with Vinoteka as first public software. Un long silence…

Ah tenir un blog…belle initiative, mais malheureusement qui n’a pas perdurée dans le temps. J’avoue avoir essayé les différentes formules qui s’offrent à nous, Facebook, Twitter, etc…. Finalement, nous avons de nombreux outils pour écrire et donner notre avis, reste la question habituelle, pour qui et pourquoi ? Questions intergalactiques, sidérales…

Plus sérieusement, ce long silence est lié à la masse de travail fourni pour mes projets, en cours. Tout d’abord, the big one, Contactizer Pro 3.8 vient juste de sortir. Des nouvelles fonctionnalités à gogo, l’abandon de Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) et le support de Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6). Techniquement parlant, la transition est juste monstrueuse, d’un côté nous nous débarrassons de vieilles technologies, mais nous ouvrons la porte à une réécriture entière de certains modules. Bref, les prochaines versions sont pleine de promesses. Un dernier mot pour dire que nous allons être distribués en boite.

Autre projet lancé depuis mars 2009, Vinoteka, pour gérer vos vins et votre cave sur votre Mac. Je vous conseille d’y jeter un oeil . J’en parlerai plus en détail dans un prochain post.
